Alternate Meeting Sites

Where to Meet during the Renovation

A message to Committees and Groups at All Souls Church:  Given the many vibrant and diverse ministries at All Souls Church, the need for meeting space will continue to be great during this renovation period.  However, we encourage you to think of this also as an opportunity to build connections! Because we work with several organizations in the neighborhood and throughout the city – we see the renovation as an opportunity to deepen these partnerships by meeting in some of their spaces. Even if you have a convenient meeting place, we encourage you to have one of your meetings in a partner’s office/meeting space – step outside of your comfort zone, and meet some new folks!

Space at Other Organizations

  • La Clinica del Pueblo:  Our secondary school CRE programs and ESL classes are using space there on Sundays.
  •  Jubilee Housing:  A few organizations have begun to use space at Jubilee Housing sites. Contact ASC member Jane Diefenbach for information and to make arrangements, jc.dief@gmail.com.
  • Congregant Homes:  for some church groups this is the best option for the next year.  Thanks to all who have opened their homes!
  • Coffee shops, cafes, or libraries:  These can be good options for ge
tting All Souls out in the community.  See Meeting Space Ideas for All Souls Church Groups, below, compiled by ASC member Sara Frueh.
